For every action there is an equivalent and opposite reaction..
It also complies with the law of conservation of momentum
Here, the firing of the bullet is the action and recoiling of the gun is the reaction
The speed of the bullet is large but it's mass is small... and gun is much heavier than the bullet.. So the recoiling of the gun is smaller due to law of conservation of momentum
