When calcium carbonate reacts with nitric acid, calcium nitrate, water and carbondioxide are formed.

The chemical reaction can be given as :-
CaCO3 + 2HNO3 ------------> Ca (NO3)2 + H2O + CO2.

Hope it helps ;)

When Calcium carbonate reacts with nitric acid then it forms calcium nitrate and carbon dioxide and water.

The reaction are as follows::

CaCO3 + 2HNO3 =====>> Ca(NO3)2 + CO2 + H2O

Means:

Calcium carbonate + Nitric acid===>>> Calcium Nitrate + carbon dioxide + water

Thanks .
