When Calcium hydroxide reacts with carbon dioxide then it forms calcium carbonate and water..

The reaction are as follows::

Ca(OH)2 + CO2 ======>> CaCO3 + H2O

Means:

Calcium hydroxide + carbon dioxide===>>> Calcium carbonate and water.

Thanks
