The reaction between water and CaO is an exothermic reaction. Heat is released during exothermic reaction ,rise in temperature is observed The reaction between Ba(OH)2 & NH4Cl is an endothermic reaction. Heat is absorbed during endothermic reaction, fall in temperature is observed.
