When a candle burns, both physical & chemical changes occur. On heating, candle wax melts and form liquid wax. It is a physical change. Since it again turns into solid wax on cooling.

Answer:

Physical reaction leads to change in state of candle that is change in shape and size

On the other hand chemical change takes place when the candle burns it leads to the formation of CO2 hence it is chemical change
