When Cao is added to water taken in beaker rise in temperature and when Ba(OH)2 is mixed qith NH4Cl a fall in temperature. Why

because when cao added in water it form CA (OH)2 which is exothermic reaction means it produces heat. and when we react to barium Hydroxide to nh4cl then it will be endothermic reaction absorbs heat.
so there will be fall in temperature .
