when Carbon and oxygen reacts it forms carbondioxide,but in this reaction carbon is in solid and oxygen is in gaseous state than how carbon changes into gas,?​

when carbon dioxide is formed it goes to lower oxidation state ie. it becomes more stable .

and if you see the stable compound often goes to gaseous state because most of the stable compounds are in gaseous state.
