when the carbon bonds 6 carbon I break into three carbon molecules which is known as the pyruvate and this further divided into the two ways where one is aerobic respiration and one is anaerobic respiration in the aerobic respiration there is the presence of oxygen show it gains 38 ATP and when in yest there is no oxygen present so it is an anaerobic respiration
