when carbon dioxide gas is passed into lime water it's turn milky . what be the reason? what type of charge is this

this is because C act reducing agent and reduced lime water which turns it milky

When Carbon dioxide is passed through lime water it turns milky because of the formation of calcium carbonate which is white in colour .

Ca ( OH )2 + CO2 --- Ca Co3 (White ) + H2O
