When carbon dioxide reacts with potassium hydroxide then it forms potassium carbonate and water..


The reaction are as follows::

CO2 + 2KOH ======>>> K2 CO3 + H2O


Means::

Carbon dioxide + potassium hydroxide===>>Potassium carbonate and water
