\boxed{Your\:\:Answer\:\:Is\:\:49.2\:\: minutes}

Given:-

  • Speed = 40miles/hr.
  • Time taken = 40 mins = 40/60hrs

= 0.66 hrs [Approx]

To find:-

  • Time taken if the speed is 50miles/hrs

Now,

  • Distance = Speed/Time

=》 Distance = 40/0.66

=》 Distance = 60.6 miles [Approx]

So,

  • Time taken when the speed is 50 miles/hr

= Speed/time

=》 Time = 50/60.6

=》 Time = 0.82 hours [Approx]

=》 Time = 49.2 minutes [Approx] {0.82×60}
