Meiosis is the type of cell division that creates egg and sperm cells. Mitosis is a fundamental process for life. During mitosis, a cell duplicates all of its contents, including its chromosomes, and splits to form two identical daughter cells.

Hey! When u were born u were a small baby...very small ..isn't it?...now u must be grown up ...u must have gained height ...well that's because of ur cells dividing themselves rapidly at ur young age...cells divide to repair...to grow...and to develop...if u injure urself while playing ...the wound heals after sometime..that is also because of cell division ..new cells take up the place of dead cells....reproduction is also cell division..that is a pretty vast topic..so need not go deep into it...cells divide so that u can grow and heal...when u get old...ur cell division will become less as compared to the cells which die..so one day ur skin will also look old ...and u will become weak..as new cells will not be there to take the place of old ones....
