Answer:

Co2 = carbon dioxide

Ca(OH)2 = calcium hydroxide

when CO2 gas pass from CA(OH)2 we get CaCo3 + H2O

the formula is written as

CO2 + CA(OH) = CaCo3↓ + H2O

CO2 have 2 atoms and Ca have 1 atom that's why we get CaCo3 and O2 reacts with (OH)2 we get H2O

CaCo3 = calcium carbonate

when calcium carbonate reacts with water that is saturated from carbon dioxide and calcium bio carbonate this reaction is important for erosion
