Hey dear ur answer is here....!!

When CO2 is passed through lime water , the lime water turns milky white due to formation of white precipitate of calcium carbonate.

However, when excess of CO2 is passed through this solution, the milkiness disappears. This is due to the formation of calcium bicarbonate which is colorless and soluble in water.

chemical reactions:-

Ca(OH)2 +CO2 ------> CaCO3 + H2O

CaCO3 +CO2 + H2O ------> CaHCO3

Hope this helps you out....!!
