when copper metal corrodes a green deposit is formed on it's surface what is the chemical name and chemical formula for this green deposit ​

when copper is exposed to air it turns green due corrosion, because it reacts with moisture and atmospheric gases to form a mixture of copper carbonate and copper hydroxide ...... that is CuCO3.Cu(OH)2.
