When copper turning are added to silver
nitrate solution, a blue coloured solution is
formed after some time. It is because copper:
(a) Displaces silver from the solution
(b) Forms a blue colored complex with AgNO3
(c) Is oxidized to Cu2+
(d) Is reduced to Cu2+​

Answer:

Copper is more reactive than silver so it will displace silver nitrate solution . The reaction is as follows : cu+2Ag(NO3)2-----> Cu(NO3)2+2Ag. The colourless solution of silver nitrate will turn to blue due to formation of copper nitrate and silver metal will deposit on the copper turnings
