Given : \[{C_p}\]  = 20 J Kg⁻¹ K⁻¹

              n = 1 mole

To Find : Value of \[{C_V}\].

Solution :

Formula used to find  \[{C_V}\] is as follows-

         \[{C_P} = {C_V} - nR\]

Here,

         \[{C_p}\] = heat capacity at constant pressure

        \[{C_V}\] = heat capacity at constant volume

           n = number of moles

           R = gas constant

From following

        \[{C_p}\]  = 20 J Kg⁻¹ K⁻¹

         n  = 1 mole

         R = 8.314 J mole⁻¹ K⁻¹

putting all the values, we get

  \[{C_P} = {C_V} - nR\]

     \[{C_V}\]  = 20 - 1×8.314

     \[{C_V}\] = 5.36 J Kg⁻¹ K⁻¹

Therefore, value of  \[{C_V}\]  is found to be 5.36J Kg⁻¹ K⁻¹.

Hence, Value of  \[{C_V}\] is  5.36J Kg⁻¹ K⁻¹.
