When current drawn from a cell increases, the potential difference between
the cell electrodes decreases. Why?

Answer:

There is a little logic in this, if you are playing or doing any work after something you will feel exausted because your energy is drawn. Similarly if the cell or battery is in use then there will be flow of electrons or we can say current will be drawn and eventually it's emf will decrease and hence the potential difference will decrease.
