When current flows through Steel, it behaves like a magnet. True or false??

Yes, if current is flowed through steel, it behaves like a magnet.

But, the catch is that it will not be an electromagnet. It would be a permanent magnet.

It will remain a magnet even when the current flowing through it is ceased.

The reason behind this: Steel has high retentivity.

steel is alloy of iron and carbon, so yes it will behave like a magnet.
