when did archalogists dig the ground why do they usually find older remain at lower level​

Archaelogical remains are usually found low in the ground because the older remains gets buried under the years of dirt, soil and other things, the older the things the more soil and dirt would be above them and hence they are usually found deeper.

Mostly because the sand and soil keeps on settling over these remains and thus they are found in lower levels.......and they turn itno fossil fuels.

The lower levels of land has more fossil fuels...
