while she was returning from her school she encounters a incident in which an old man of her caste was carrying a food parcel in a comical way. Then the old man gave to a young man of higher caste with a low bow before him. This amused her and she narrated this to her elder brother (Annan). While saying this she laughed in a very uncontrollable manner. But her brother explained that it's not the matter to laugh but a very pity full condition of them. It's the cruelty of untouchability. He also said her that education is the only weapon to break these sort of barriers.
