When did formation of language based region took place?

There is no exact date to see the linguistic changes in India as different states of India faced the language difference at various levels.

However, as per the linguistic records, the knowledge is stored since 3rd century BCE in the form of Brāhmī Script.

In the Indo-Aryan culture, there were many languages that were followed such as Vedic Sanskrit, Classical Sanskrit, Pali, Prakrits, etc.

However, with the development, slowly the starts started to form communities in the form of language known to them.
