He was Pakistani politician and retired four-star army general and was 10th President of Pakistan from 2001 till his resignation for avoiding impeachment in 2008.

During British Raj, Musharraf brought up in Karachi and Istanbul.  

He went to study mathematics at Forman Christian College in Lahore and later study at Royal College of Defence Studies in 1991.  

Musharraf enters Pakistan Military Academy in 1961 and commissioned in Pakistan Army in 1964 and went to play an active role in Afghan civil war.

Musharraf saw action in Indo-Pakistani War of 1965 as second lieutenant by 1980s where Musharraf was commanding an artillery brigade.  

In 1990s he promoted to major general and assigned an infantry division.  

Later served as deputy military secretary and director general of military operation.
