The Nizam govt lift ban on Hyderabad State Congress in April 1946.
The Hyderabad State Congress was founded in 1938 with the aim to demand a responsible government in Hyderabad. So it was banned by the Nizam and the ban was lifted in April 1946, after the end of Quit India Movement. The Hyderabad State Congress later played a major role to unite Hyderabad with India.
