Qutub ud- Din Aibak died in 1210 A.D., by the injuries caused by his fell from horse while playing polo.
Quṭb ud-Dīn Aibak was the founder of a ruling dynasty called Mamluk dynasty and the first emperor of the Sultanate of Delhi. He ruled only for four years from 1206- 1210. He died in the year 1210 A.D. His death was caused by injuries he received at the time he fell down from a horse while playing polo. He was buried near Anarkali Bazar, Lahore. After his death his slave, Shams ud-Din Iltutmish became his successor.
