Answer:
Hi when I was small I used to be quite bad in Cricket.
and grown up in India we know that cricket is quite famous.
So I with my friends at age of 12-15 used to play a lot and for us studies till 10th meant 1-2 days just before exams but still I managed to get 90% all times and only time I got less than 90 was once and that too because I did not give two papers.
so I did not study before exams and thought I would get less marks but always got ranks in class.
Kehte hai na mehndak ko kooye me hi duniya dekhti hai. So all bad karma turned good for that duration of life.
although now I regret that since If I would have worked harder then I would have been best now.
Okay back to cricket stories:-
So in cricket I just knew to throw ball and that too without over arm motion.
My best friend too did not want to have me in his team as he did never wanted to lose.
(btw he also studied only before exams although he got marks in range 80 quite more times)
So I always went home after losing matches and still at night thinking how would I play tomorrow.
How I would get better.
So I started watching cricket on TV
and saw also the film
in which a boy tied a ball to ceiling and used to practice shots.
So I did it.
my mom and dad did not cared.
until I did not break anything in room.
and I tied the ball somehow that it did not hit anything if I hit it straight or left or right.
although there used to be washing machine on my right but before my practice session I used to shift it.
so I started playing.
I was weak on balls at my legs
so I started playing such that the tied balls hit my legs.
and started practicing but still I was bad in bowling.
So I saw Cricketers bowling quite different from what we kids did in grounds.
They rotated their arms.
So I started imitating them and after some time I learn Overhand Bowling action by myself although I lacked speed and direction.
All this happenned in summer of 2014.
after 1 month I playing better than all my friends.
and once even starting bowling overarm nicely to my friends.
while I bowling some older college students saw me and they called their friends.
and told I play nice and at age of 12 how can I bowl overarm since in our area there is no coaching nearby and the nearest one is 30 km away.
I told those guys that I learnt myself by seeing Television.
They were amazed and even told if I pursue the dream nicely I would become a Cricketer
( my friends getting jealous on my overarm bowling skill so even taught them how Bowl overarm )
Then once I was called to play a cricket match in locality in 2017
I played for my school house as I was a cabinet captain of my house and won my house the finals in school cricket competition although we lost next year since next year in my 9th class 10th seniors were more in numbers in our team and frankly speaking none of our team played with energy and they just did not play nice
with me still getting 2 wickets in 2 overs and giving 10 runs
fast forward 2015 from 2014 story
school introduced Cricket coaching,
got enrolled with friends.
Coaching sir called me by nickname " Shail Tanvir"
as my action resembled him and told me to join his coaching in city to become a Cricketer.
but then due to some distractions including video games I lost interest in Cricket and did not pursue it.
Do I regret
No, because I want to do something for society.
so overall story is I started playing cricket bad but ended up being best in school
moral
if you have passion you may get whatever you want.
Even in studies
if you're passionate you can study same topics which a non passionate person would take 2-3 hours to complete in just 1 hour.
So be passionate
