After being independent, india had many problems before it. So, they started making Constitution on 26th Jan 1929. There are 299 members from different parts of our country in Constitution assembly. So, the Constitution was formed on 26th Jan 1950.

election to the condtituent assembly was held in july 1946 and its first meeting was held on december 1946
