Earlier, people used to dominate womens too much. They didn't cared whether their wives, sisters, mothers were dieing or surviving hard to survive. Still in some parts this is being but. All the rights were snached by them. Women had to do whatever mens told them. This is not fair in any mean.
They were beaten hardly. Womens didn't had any power so they had to bear all pain.
This had been banned in Constitution but still it continues in stereotyping and conservative places. So sorry to hear.................these all.
