Women are the important and the main people of the nation and they think they should provide their hand to the development of the nation.
It will give her the feeling that they are equal to men and they are also representing the nation and can fight against them due to which they have struggled a lot during colonial rule.

=) The women of India see services to the nation as a sacred duty because in older times and now also in some places womens are left behind the mens . They are considered lower then men . But it's not true everyone is equal in the Indian constitution . But , it's happening and some steps are taken up to give womens their rights . But , modern womens are considered them equal to men and they also do work except household works .
(i) Womens felt that it's their moral duty to serve a hand to the nation .
(ii) Womens felt that by doing this , they could easily gain the equal status as mens have .
