Explanation:

Battle of Buxar, also spelled as Baksar was fought on 22 October 1764, It was a confrontation between the forces of the British East India Company, commanded by Major Hector Munro, and the united army of a coalition of Indian states, including Bengal, Awadh and the Mughal Empire, in northeastern India.

The war was the result of company wanting to take possession of Bengal's Nawabs to rob their wealth. The Buxar Battle was fought between the British and Mir Qasim's forces, Mughal Emperor Shah Alam-II and Shuja-ud-Daulah, Nawab of Awadh in Buxar(in Bihar). The war was later bought to an end by Allahabad Treaty in 1765.
