Answer:

Zimbabwe was long ruled by British and gained independence 1970's. one of the party, a national party led by revolutionary leader Robert Mugabe became the first pres. of Zimbabwe. He ruled almost for 35 to 40 years committing many scams, rigging and crimes against humanity. His party won the election since independence till 2018 with huge majority

Explanation:

the reason wasnt that it's corruption free and prominent party,

the truth was election was rigged, people were forced to vote, and zimbawaen army was also used to disturb and abondon the opposition meetings.

It is not regarded as democratic because there was no equality and freedom among the citizens to vote to Thier satisfying leader.

But in 2018, Robert Mugabe was deposed by military coup led by his former vice president Mnangagwa

After the fresh refrundum polls, Mnangagwa was chosen as President, after 40 years of autocratic rule.
