Answer :-

Option b.

Clouds

When discussing terms related to water, Nimbus, cumulus and stratus refer to types of Clouds.

Additional Information :-

• Clouds is one of the important forms of condensation.

• Condensation is the transformation of water vapours into solid or liquid state when the air is saturated with water and temperature falls.

• When the condensation occurs around dust particles in the lower layers of atmosphere, it forms fog.

• When the condensation occurs around dust particles in the upper layers of atmosphere, it forms clouds.

The main 3 types of clouds are :

Cirrus : They are thin, wispy and curly clouds.

Stratus : They are large grey sheets covering the entire sky.

Cumulus : Dense widespread and dome - Shaped.

The Nimbostratus Clouds cause continuous Precipitation in the form of snow or rain.

Rain is a form of Precipitation which is drizzle of water droplets.

Glaciers are landforms made up of dense ice.

The answer :-

Option b.

Clouds

At this altitude, the air is so cold that the cloud is composed of ice crystals rather than water droplets found at lower altitudes. ... The skies may have these stratus clouds for days and it also brings rain. Cumulus clouds are the clouds that seem to make pictures in the sky.

Clouds that produce rain and snow fall into this category. ("Nimbus" comes from the Latin word for "rain.") Two examples are the nimbostratus or cumulonimbus clouds. Nimbostratus clouds bring continuous precipitation that can last for many hours.

Cloud Types

The highest clouds in the atmosphere are cirrocumulus, cirrus, and cirrostratus. Cumulonimbus clouds can also grow to be very high.

Mid-level clouds include altocumulus and altostratus.

The lowest clouds in the atmosphere are stratus, cumulus, and stratocumulus.

some facts about clouds.....

A cloud is a large group of tiny water droplets that we can see in the air. Clouds are formed when water on Earth evaporates into the sky and condenses high up in the cooler air. ... Rain, snow, sleet and hail falling from clouds is called precipitation
