Given : distance is fixed   velocity is doubled

To Find : time become

(a) halved (b) doubled (c) unchanged (d) tripled

Solution:

Distance = Velocity * Time

Distance is fixed

=> Velocity * Time = k   k is constant

=> vt = k   => t = k/v

velocity is doubled

=> 2vt' = k

=> t'  = k/2v

=> t' = (1/2) (k/v)

=>  t' = t/2

Hence  time is halved
