when dividing with 1875000/9 , answer is2083333333333..... but it answer is 208333.33 ? my ques tin is why we are putting decimal after 6 number as it is non terminating ?

Because at some point the remainder is less than 9 that is why after putting the decimal 9 is multiplied by a number which is less than one so that the number which has to be subtract from the remainder will less than or equal to the remainder to complete the division.
i know how to divide, my doubt is after division is complete the answer is 2083333.....(not terminating) but in my book the answer is 208333.3333.... so why we are putting point after 6 time. in calculator also the point is also shown after 6 number . u can check it in calculator . so why putting decimal after 6 time
The answer is 208333.33.... Not 20833333....

u are using calculator, to find answer. do this division in your copy u will notice that the result is 2083333......(in this 3 is coming endless time, their are no chances of putting decimal) but in calculator it showing result 208333.33... and by doing ths division in copy the result is 20833333....... if u again not able to understand my word then do this division in your copy and then answer. thank you
I have done the calculation in my notebook but the answer is 208333.333......
