Hey mate

Here is ur answer

it takes place in the society in the following circumstances:
1)Social division due to overlapping
2) social division due to cross cutting differences
3)social division due to migrants and migration
1) Overlapping Difference : some social difference overlap other differences. For ex: the difference between the black and white in US because of the black tended to be poor, homeless, discriminated against. In our country, dalits are landless and poor .they often are discriminated and injustice.A situation of this kind produces social division.
2)Cross cutting Difference: If social difference cross cut one another it is known as cross cutting differences .In another way in the situation groups that share a common interest on one issue are likely to be on different sides on a different issue. For ex: In Netherlands , class and religion tend to cut across each other.Catholics and protestants are about equally likely to poor or rich .The result is the division of the society.
3) Social division due to migrants and migration: sometimes there is a division or difference in society due to migration and migrants .Eve these countries such as Germany and Sweden, that were once highly homogenous ,are undergoing rapid change with influx of people from other parts of the world.Migrants bring with them their own culture and tend to form social community.
