When do we consider a person to be myopic or hypermetropic ? Draw a ray diagram to
show a myopic eye. How can myopia be corrected ? Show with the help of a ray

When a person is unable to see the distant object clearly by his eye is called Myopia.

When a person is unable to see the near things or object clearly is called Hypermetropia.

In fig. (i) We can see the myopic eye

In fig. (ii) We can see the correction of myopic eye by the use of Concave lens
