If a ray of light passes through a water droplet we observe bright rainbow if it passes through the water droplets at a certain angle.
1) White light is made up of a combination of a number of lights which appear on a rainbow.
2) So, when a light passes through a water droplet, when the incidence angle is in such a manner that refraction of the light occurs, then we observe a bright rainbow.
