when do we say that a body is at rest and when do we say that it is moving.

when the object or the body stay on it's original or origin point then we say that the body is at rest.

when the body or the object moves from it's original or origin point then iwe say that the body is moving or is in motion

the movement of Any Body Can Only Be determine when when we compare the body to the other rest bodies . let's suppose a situation where you are stand at any point beside a tree . after a few second you move from there at another point then how you determine that do you move . you firstly see that the trees which are besides is lying behind you. in this way you think that I move some distances in a certain time .

so the rest and the movement of any object is only the comparison to the reference point or oath taking any object which is at rest .
