we use CPCT in triangles when we have to state that two corresponding parts i.e; angles/sides of two congruent triangles are equal.
For example : see the given attachment!
We write 'by CPCT' at the last after proving that two given triangles are congruent. Hence, their corresponding parts are equal as well.
Hope this helps! :))
