we use these for plural and this for singular. example, 'these' are mine. So that means I am referring to more than 2 things. 'This' is mine. it means I am referring to only one thing. That is used for something in a distance which is singular. example, 'That' is my aunt's house. it means I am showing /telling somebody which is my aunt's house,and it's in a distance. Those is the same as 'that', but its plural. example, 'those' kids are so loud. it is referring to kids who are playing and are quite loud.
