Explanation:

The number of WBC's in an individual will be high when he/she is suffering from an infection, as the WBC's in the body help fight infections. So in order to eliminate the pathogen and to fend off the infection, the number of WBC's increase in the body.

Answer: When the person is suffering from an infection his WBC count will be more. This is because, WBC is responsible for the immunity of a person. When there is an infection, the body responds by producing more WBC cells, to cure the infection.
