The rotatory motion can be defined as the motion in which an object is moving about a fixed support or a fixed position. Here, the object can also  move or spin in its own axis in its own place.

For example a stone tied to a string and rotated by hand , or the ceiling fan of a house, fans of the helicopter , etc.
