Drought occurs when there is no water available in a area , it is highly unpredictable . In some cases drought occurs in the areas where a time very much amounts of water was available but no water is there . Then the land starts drying and cracks are seen there . Sometimes the cracks be came very big . It become a barren land where agriculture cannot be done .
