When does a force do work? What is the work done by moon?

ANS 1 == When a object displaces due to apply of force than the work happen and it is only possible when the force and displacement direction are and perpendicular to each other

ANS2 == The work done by noon is zero
As it attract by earth due to earth gravitational and it's and it's angular velocity (velocity at each point) is tangential to earth gravitational force
that's the reason work done by noon is zero
