When does a human body elicit an anamnestic response
Answers
An anamnestic response occurs in our body then the memory cells of the Lymphocytes present in our body recognise any pathogen which has previously entered in our body.
In response to that pathogen entered, the already prepared antibodies attack the pathogen directly and that attack is of very high intensity.
When an antigen comes in contact with our body for the very first time the memory cells of the lymphocytes keep a type of record for that antigen so that whenever a subsequent encounter of that antigen happens the body prepares itself for the attack and safeguard itself.
On The first encounter of an antigen the antibodies are automatically formed in our body and when a subsequent encounter of the antigen takes place those antibodies attack the antigen by themselves and protects our body.
Anamnestic response
Explanation:
- This is a type of response, caused by the memory cells which are present in B-lymphocytes and T-lymphocytes.
- The memory cells play a vital role by recognizes the antigen or any other disease creating pathogen that enter into our body and create diseases.
- When the same bacteria, or pathogen enter into the body, the memory cells recognizes the pathogen and immediately defense mechanism starts to kill the bacteria or the pathogen by producing the antibody which is specific for the antigen.
- This type of response in our immune system is called as Anamnestic response.
