Explanation:

When it is demonstrated through pure love.

I’m reminded of the story of Desmond Doss. Desmond was a US soldier during WW2 and a conscientious objector to killing due to his faith in Jesus Christ’s doctrine of love and service to each other. While men were blowing each other apart, Desmond was rescuing who he could as a combat medic. He never used a rifle during his tour of duty to fire a shot in aggression or defense. He valued life that much. And in some way he was protected from death as he faced the live fire of the enemy of his time to bring back as many of his unit as he could alive.

In fact, if you know men and women of such faith you would also know that they view no one as the enemy. While the world would rail otherwise in divisions and self interests, these special persons live to serve and are quiet saviors to those who cannot help themselves. Those who seek not the honors of men, but by their works for the love of people, this earth and peace, honor yet finds them.

If you want to know who are the gods among us, seek those who serve selflessly, prayerfully and persistently without guile and without gain. They are the mother, the father, the sister and brother who love and live for each of us. We know them and have been entreated by them. They are the salt of the earth and the lights of the world that cannot be hid. They come from all cultures and many faiths.

You could say these are earthly people who under their own power become God-like with all the defining attributes of pure love.
