it depends on the school u r studying.... different schools start their session at different time......some start before result publication and some start after publication.....

Though the exact date will depend upon the school that you are studying in, most of the schools start the new session after the results are released.
But there are also some schools where the new session for class 11 CBSE begins even before the results are out.
