i suppose u r taking abt the experiment which shows that matter is made of particles which are extremly small . welll this activity requires dissolving two to three crystals of potassium permanganet in 100 ml of water the colour of this solution will be dark purplish we continue this by talking 10 ml of this solution and dissolving with 90 ml water the clour is a bit lighter this time we contnue following this procedure for 5 to 8 times and notice that it will still have a light purple colour which shows that just few crystals of potassium permanganet can dissolve in 1000 litres of water
