⚫when the regional parties enter into legislatures, and they secure the highest majority of the two houses of parliament ie lok sabha and rajya sabha , then these parties become national party.
⚫these parties can remain in force as a national party , till they have majority support in the lok and rajya sabha , otherwise they resign.
