Hey mate !!!

Answer :-

When the body moves from initial point to ending point ,the displacement is zero .

Hence displacement is also a type of distance.

Zyxwvu: But if the body is at rest then it's displacement will be 0 but it should be noted that distance can never be 0. So that's incorrect

If the body travels the distance between the initial point and final point along a straight line path and the same direction then the distance travelled by a body becomes equal to the displacement of a body. Note that :

Displacement is also a distance.

When the body is at rest then the displacement n distance will not be the same because displacement can be 0 but distance can't be 0.
